Laser vaccine adjuvant effects
A laser-based vaccine adjuvant is expected to sufficiently boost both humoral and cellular immune responses with few side effects due to its local application.
We are developing a new laser system that can be convenient to apply and unlimitedly re-usable in the clinic. With this new laser instrument, we can reduce a dose and thus the expense of an existing vaccine, or we can induce a stronger immune response in relatively immune-compromised populations such as the elderly and infants.
